I got this touch on my case status online today.

On April 15, 2010, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I wonder what it is. But, we already got our biometrics letter last week. Hmmm... that made me thinking... :innocent:

any advise there and ideas? thanks so much.

it could be for your husband's tax stuff or pay stubs if he doesnt meet the poverty guideline. Did he meet the guidelines? I got the same thing right after biometrics as well. But you never know, it could be something so simple asa copy of your BC or something

Got my Biometrics done today  as scheduled on the appointment letter. Did not do early walk in. Whats next? ...i guess the usual. Wait. Didnt opt for early walk in because of work schedule and the fact that i'd hate to go in and get turned down (waste of time for me). Anyway, lets see how soon the next touch will be. Good luck everyone.

By the way, i feel very calm about this process now. I am not as excited as i was initially when i filed but i am content and happy that they have my stuff. As long as they are working on it, i am good...lol I wonder why.

QUESTION: Does anyone know of the criteria of getting your paperwork transferred to CSC. Thats because i noticed that everyone who got transferred had previously applied for another document and had been previously interviewed either at consulate or somewhere and was on the second part of adjusting status. My case is different in that i was out of status and staying in the US and married my sweetheart ( a USC) and filed i485 and i130. Never had an interview with them anywhere. Last time i dealt with the immigration is when i came as a student in 1997 December through Dallas........ so i am guessing that its impossible to get my case transferred to CSC. (just wishing here that i could be transferred but no big deal ha ha ha)

hey we have the same case technically, coz i am also out of status on my work visa and never really did interview particularly for a fiancée visa... no answer to your question i am also hoping for the smoothest possible processing. of course everyone wants to avoid additional stuff to do. :)

good luck!

I got a notification when my case arrived at CSC but every other time it has been touched I was not notified. I just saw the touch when I did my daily USCIS login :)

hrmmm... where in the USCIS website could you find the "touch"? all i see is just the little circles with the current status shaded, not any other particular details...

just curious, won't the RFE specify what they really need? or is that included on another letter or something?

** skip the "touch" - i think i found it... lol my AOS hasn't been touched since 03/29 but maybe it's just because of the biometrics... hopefully it gets touched more frequently once my biometrics are done

Isn't that only really half true? I mean, if you are married for more than two years at the time of your AOS being adjudicated, then yeah, you don't have to remove conditions, they should just give you the 10 year card. But, for most AOS applicants, their wedding date has no bearing on ROC, because you can remove conditions three months before the two year anniversary of you conditional green card - not your second wedding anniversary.

Yes, you are correct. I was mistaken.
