Got my passport with my new name! Yaaay! Although I had to request for a "Certificate of One and the Same Person" because of naming conventions for the Philippines (that I didn't know was actually a "law") that caused discrepancies with my middle name. Hassle hassle...

Anyhow, I'm really anticipating the biometrics on the 23rd! I just want that done with so I can stop being paranoid about getting my hands injured before the biometrics date lol! I'm weird, I know! :hehe:

2015/05/02 - sent N-400 packet to USCIS [Day 0] (Saturday mail)

GOOD NEWS!! Maybe?

I just got a text a half hour ago telling meto check our online status. AOS says transferred to CSC. EAD doesn't say anything.

We have now gone 30 days after filing with no Biometrics letter. Our last touch before this was 4 days after the check was cashed. So maybe the letter was lost in the mail? Dave will be calling USCIS and getting them to submit an SR. If this fails then maybe we will schedule an Infopass.

I'm really very anxious about not getting the Biometrics letter yet though. 31 days past receipt and 18 days from NOA1. If he fails to show up for Biometrics they will consider us to have abandoned the case?? ARGH. I'm so scared about losing that $1010. Cash is getting tight.

Love you all!! Will give an update about biometrics whenever I hear anything.

The back of my check for AOS had a different number than the other 3 NOA's and would not work on USCIS website. Anyone else noticed this??? On My K1 number it did work fine, but maybe not so for AOS :blink:

The number on my check was different to the number given to me in the email/texts. It happens. It was also take a day or so for your case numbers to be entered into the system so you can see them on the USCIS site.

The number on my check was different to the number given to me in the email/texts. It happens. It was also take a day or so for your case numbers to be entered into the system so you can see them on the USCIS site.

The number on my check ended in 1. The AOS AND EAD had nearly consecutive numbers to the number on the back of my check. AOS ended in 2 and EAD ended in 5.

My AP and EAD were consecutive, but my AOS was two numbers in front of those. And then the number on my check was two spots in front of my AOS number.

That was my exact sequence also must be how they process multiples. :star:

The USCIS website worked fine for us from 2-3 when we received the text message and update. Now I am getting an error message from the website as well.

yup, usually you do. but thats that day they sent out the actual notices to you. then you get it in the mail two or three days after.

Hi guys,

As an update, we got our biometrics done on Monday and today we got a letter saying our case has been transfered to CSC Service Center to expedite it. I think this is good news. The website still says our case is in processing.

N-400 Stuff:
07/02/16 : N-400 sent

07/11/16 : NOA1

07/28/16 : Biometrics

04/03/17: Interview (approved)

04/14/17: Judicial oath ceremony

Not a big update, but we had our biometrics on Monday, and a touch later that night (technically the next day, the email was at midnight).

And on a non-adjustment-related note, Vicky finally qualified as a "resident" per Wisconsin laws and took (and passed!) her written test. Now I can start teaching her to drive once we receive her learner's permit in the mail.
