Maybe you didn't write your email address on the G-1145 form? I got 2 emails and 2 texts since I applied for AP and AOS. But filed my EAD ahead.

I sent the electronic notice form with the entire AOS package. Attached to the main app with email and cell info

but I never received notification through text or email! lol

But I do know that they cashed the check and I received the 3 noa1 receipts in the mail.

Today I got this email message from USCIS -

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

----

On April 1st my case was transferred to CSC....so is this email saying it has arrived at CSC, or it has gone from CSC to my local field office? I didn't think that my case would take a week to get from Missouri to California.

I got the same email, with a text alert that there was an update. Then I received a NOA from the CSC that it was being processed there. It's just a receipt notice, and just because they received it in the mail in 3 days doesn't mean they processed it and issued the NOA that day hehe.

We haven't received a biometrics notice yet. I made my husband call USCIS and I ended up getting on the phone and yelling at the first rep because he thought it was 30 days from the NOA date that those were due. Everyone else seems to have theirs already. My husband finally talked to a supervisor and they said our 30 days were up on Sunday and to call back on Monday.

Then my husband and I had a nice argument about my being impatient and spending too much time on VJ trying to figure out the norm timeframes. Yeah right!! Anyways, he doesn't know I'm right yet but our AOS process seems to be full of delays. I think USCIS needs to little kick in the a$$ to get moving. Hopefully the letter about biometrics comes on Friday or Saturday, otherwise Monday is going to involve a SR or a infopass appointment.

Our VisaJourney started July 2009 when I mailed the 129-F

Fiance here February 2010, married 10 days later

I got my RFE after I got the notice for biometrics. I knew we would get an RFE though. coz we didnt send everything they asked with regards the tax stuff. but tht was fine by me, since I already had my EAD. I was fine with my AOS taking longer coz all that mattered to me was that I could work.

One of the January or Feb filers said that an IO told her that people who live in California rarely gets transferred to CSC for reasons unknown. But usually when your case gets transferred to CSC, there's a good chance you wont get an RFE and an interview.

Icepeck, I haven't responded to the RFE yet. I got in on March 28 and it gives us 80 days to respond but we decided we'd take our time to responde since I have my EAD already. that's all we wanted to get ahead in time anyways. But when it comes to your case, since you've done your biometrics, you are probably good to go and will get your interview notice ssoon. are you from Cali? If not your case will get transferred to CSC and that means no interview :) Good for you! Usually when they are going to send an RFE, they send it to you early in the process. I got my RFE notice 10 days after I got my first NOA

What did you send in for tax information? Marie( M and F) hasn't filed her 2009 yet and so she didn't send them. Is that a reason you got the RFE?

we got the RFE coz my husband still hasnt filed his 2009 taxes. and for his previous year, he had a differenmt job which wont qualify him as a sponsor. so they wanted the new taxes with his new job so they would know exactly how much he earns and if he meets the 125% above poverty guideline thing

I've seen people from Cali getting transferred to CSC-- i think it depends on your case not really on the place you live. it could also be random, with USCIS it's hard to guess and even IO might not be very informed many times. all I can hope for is no RFE for medical records and a fair, quick process :star:
