We received our RFE Monday and sent the reply on Tuesday, turns out it was for the medical--the Civil Surgeon somehow forgot to write down the complete birthday, place of birth, and mis-spelled our street address and the phone number.

Nevertheless, we made an appointment with the CS, went in and got her to fill out the forms again, we double checked and she sealed and signed it. We put it in the mail via USPS Priority Mail and USCIS should have it by Monday the latest.

It was the CS's fault, I must say... Anyway, good luck to all of us!

Just got an email saying the packaged was delivered today at 4:05PM, same day as if I were to send it via overnight mail, but saved almost $15. Anyway, I should hear something from USCIS in about a week. Best wishes to all of us!

We have a question regarding the Indianapolis ASC. Do they allow early/walkin biometric appointments?

Hi there. We went to the Indianapolis office. I didn't try walking in myself, but I heard from someone that it does not allow walk-ins. Good luck!

Below is the document i received.

For the household member's income to be included in the household

income, the household member's must have from a lawful source and

earned while the household member was authorized to work in the

United States. Examples include one of the following:

> A copy of Form I-94, Arrival/Departure Record showing a

non-immigrant classification that allows the intending.

immigrant/household member to work lawfully in the

United States. Examples includes E-1, E-2, E-3, H-1B,

H-1B1, H-1C, H-2A, H-2B, H-3, L-1, TN

> A copy of valid Employment Authorization Document

issued by US Citizenship & Immigrant Service (USCIS).

> A copy of Form I-94, Arrival/Departure Record with

"Employment Authorized" or similar annotated by port-of-entry personnel.

> A copy of a birth certificate issued by the proper civil

authority showing birth in the United States.

> A copy of the biographical information page of the US

passport.

> A copy of the Certificate of Naturalization.

> A copy of the Certificate of Citizenship.

I have a Employment Authorization Document but it has already expired on the 03/15/2010. It was issued by USCIS March 2009. Can I send the expired copy. Please i need help. Thank you.

I'd imagine you could send the EAD, so long as it shows your income was received while it was still valid.

Thanks for the reply. I mailed the copy of the EAD yesterday. All that i can do now is to pray and hope for the best. Once again thanks.

if I understand correctly you walked in for your biometrics, so you are not going in on the 9th anymore--that was the scheduled appointment, right? I was just looking at your timeline and was wondering about it Hope my process goes smoothly and gets transferred to CSC too

Yes. I was able to do a walk in on the 29th, but the appointment scheduled for me was for the 9th of April.

Got the hardcopies of my NOAs today. I'm impressed. lol I know that means I'm technically an April filer, but this is a more active thread, and I like it here lol

We sent AOS March 19 and there has been NO update since, nothing. And it's like 20 days have passed =/ I also was not able to include that form G-1145...It's causing me to worry now what could have happened, I hope this week we will receive a hard copy of at least sayin they receive our application =/ Until then, there is no way to check my application, right?

Still haven't received hardcopies but now my case shows up if I try to look up the status on the USCIS website, so they should be on their way!

If it was paid with a personal check, and if your bank shows it cashed, and if your bank has scans of the front and back of the check online, and/ or you can have them send you a copy of the cashed check; you can get the case number(s) off the back of the check and check the online site for status.

The check being cashed would indicate they are starting processing if your bank cannot provide a copy of the check to you, and you can anticipate a NOA soon.

We mailed our March 10, it arrived March 12. It took until March 25 for the check to be cashed and we got the papers in the mail March 29. So 19 days total for us to receive confirmation.

You can call the USCIS and have them check if you are in the system. When we called on the 20th it had been 10 days since we mailed and they transferred us to an "officer" which I assume was a USCIS employee instead of the contracted first line customer service.
