this way you will be notified by text and email if your case status changes or has been touched. as long as you know your case numbers, this works.

Thanks - I was also able to figure out how to sign up and it's nice to have a little bit peace of mind - still anxious though. :whistle:

I received my NOAs in the mail, with the date March 25.

Does anyone in California know..

Can you get a driver's license without the greencard or do you need to wait?

To get a DL in California you need to prove legal presence. At the moment, I can't get a Drivers Licence because my I-94 only has 28 days left on it. You pretty much need to have more than 60 days on your I-94 to get one, but they will make it expire the same day your I-94 does. I think you will need to at least wait until you get your EAD.

[June 9, 2012]: Two-year green card expired. Driver's licence expired, too. Apply I-751 early, Folks! [Day 12]

[June 7, 2012]: Check cashed. [Day 10]

[June 1, 2012]: Package delivered to the Vermont office. USPS Priority is fast enough. [Day 4]

[May 29, 2012]: Sent I-751 package to Vermont office via Certified USPS Priority. [Day 1]

A long and short two-year. Time really flies!

Can you post your timeline

My timeline is one my profile. Sorry I havent gotten around to editing my signature. But i applied for EAD on Feb 3 as a K1. coz we thought we could apply for it without AOS. We were gonna withdraw the application but just decided to let it run its course. Turns out they thought we forgot to send the AOS NOA so they sent us an RFE for it and gave us 3 weeks to comply. in that 3 weeks, we filed for AOS (March 6) and when we got the NOA we sent our reply to the RFE. Sent it in on March 19 (RFE deadline was Mar 20). 5 days after, my RFE was approved. We just got lucky I guess :)
