Thanks and good luck to you too. Congrats on actually filing/compiling the paperwork. I also did it myself and it was a pain in the behind. I started doing my checks 3 weeks before mailing and double checking and re-reading and then re checking and ......yeahhhh. Just remember that it will be approximately 8 business days from the time they receive your paperwork to get a NOA. All of us were extremely impatient but surely the NOA showed up 8-10 business days later. Good luck again.

We haven't gotten notification or our check cashed. We called USCIS this morning, were escalated to an officer and they had no record of it. I hope we hear something by Monday, otherwise we might go down to the local office and ask them to investigate. USCIS can be so unpredictable. :(

Done with fingerprint today with a walk-in, but received a RFE for I-485. #######, I thought, I wonder if it is for the medical exam thingy that other members experienced. I plan to file a congressional inquiry request while waiting for the RFE in the mail.

Oh well...

Got an RFE too. dunno for what but Im thinking it could be the medical or my husband's tax returns. But I dont know what else they need! Planning to do biometrics next week so at least that will be out of the way.

I know how that feels... The day before I got notifications, I called USCIS and basically I was told that they can't do anything about it until we wait 30 days after we mailed the application(!!). I was concerned too because our check wasn't cashed yet. So it took about two weeks until I finally received notifications as you can see our timeline... I guess sometimes it can take two or three weeks even when they did receive applications. Did you get a notification that your mail was delivered by USPS though??
