We received the biometrics appointment letter yesterday. It looks like the Alexandria office accepts early walk-ins. We going to give that a try early next week.

Greetings, I see that you did your walk-in appointment already, even though you are scheduled for April 2nd. May I ask if the biometrics appointment place you went to the the one at 8850 Richmon Highway in Alexandria? If so, what do you need in order to get in there prior to your appointment date? We live less than 5 minutes from the place, so we would love to go tomorrow.

Hi Dempsy and welcome to VJ. Just a couple of things. Please use English outside the regional forums. This way you will be able to get more assistance from the other members. This will also assist those that follow us, who may find themselves in a similar situation.

Second, please fill in your timeline as this will give you a estimate of when you can expect completion and also helps in the calculations of other timelines. This also lets other members know where you are in your journey and can better to assit you.

Yes, it was that office. We didn't do anything special for the walk-in. It was almost like they didn't even check the appointment date listed in the letter. We just brought in the letter and the photo-id. He ended up having to wait over an hour before they got to him, but other than that everything went smoothly. I would think there would be less of a wait in the middle of the week...

On the USCIS website, my AP and EAD cases are both sitting in "Initial Review" like she should, but, my AOS case is still sitting on "Acceptance." We got the NOA's for all three a week ago. Is it normal for the AOS case to still be sitting on acceptance? On the site, is says that the acceptance stage only last around two business days.

That's very normal. I did my biometrics in February and even now that my interview would be next week, it still says online, "Acceptance."

Thats what I suspected. The same think happened with my K1 petition, it never changed to approved!
