It is perfectly fine for others to chime in with additional information or corroborating information when someone asks a question in these forums. We are here to help others by sharing our own personal immigration experiences. As well, it is actually a good idea for several people to 'chime in' on an answer becauswe what if only one person answers and that answer is incorrect or misleading? Having several respondents reinforce the information may not guarantee its accuracy but goes a long way to increasing the probability that the posted information is correct.

Thanks....that wasn't made apparent enough in the previous posts. Sheesh. Just stop posting to a thread when an answer is already apparent....these threads would be sooooo much cleaner and I wouldn't have to comment in frustration to clutter them even more. Post if you actually have something to contribute rather than regurgitate something that has already been said.

OK well I guess I should say sorry for asking the question which started this whole chain of replies!

I haven't been on VJ for over a year (since we got the GC probably) so I don't remember how it works and my work keeps me so busy that I don't have time to search around.

So thanks everyone for your responses...educational, informational and also somewhat un-expected!!
