I am going to try calling them today to set up our interview. It is the 7th there for them so who knows I might get lucky and be able to get our interview soon. Doubt this month but maybe next month. Oh i cant wait. So frigging excited.

So even after Dublin dragged their feet with opening our package and sending John the packet 3, we're now just sitting and waiting for John's police clearance. It's supposed to take "up to three weeks", but it's been 4 weeks now. He went to the station yesterday and found out just how ridiculous the police force in Ireland is. Despite being able to look him up in a database on demand, they have to send requests about him to every local station for places he's lived. That's three stations within one city, plus his hometown station, which is only open one day per week because it's a tiny village. We have no idea how long this is going to take. I wasn't stressing about our timeline because we're not planning on him coming until the end of September, but with this issue, who knows how much longer we'll be waiting.

I'm the USC petitioner.

Sorry to hear about the delay. It seems like there is always a slowdown somewhere. Maybe the rest of the journey will go faster. Good luck :)

Well havent been on here for a while. Since I checked in on everyone I have been to my medical (24th June), got the results back (30th June), sent everything down to Sydney (2nd July) and today(8th July), got my interview email. YAY...Sydney here I come. Daniel and I are very excited. Hopefully in 3-4 weeks we will be together again. My interview is on 3rd August, a year and 1 day after we first laid eyes on each other. So all going well(fingers crossed), I will be in Atlanta a week after that. Wooooohooooo, cant wait. Good luck to everyone that is still waiting.

Hi to all my fellow March filers. :)

We got our NOA2 on June 10. My interview will be in Montreal. Tim hasn't called yet to see if the application has reached NVC. I'm just wondering what are the chances it's already in Montreal? I've heard that I can contact Montreal by email to see if it's there. There was a case number with the NOA2 letter that Tim received, starting with "MTL." Would that be the number I need when emailing Montreal? Anybody got that email address by the way?

I was visiting Tim for the summer but had to return a couple weeks ago for my sister's funeral. I'd like to resume my visit to the States if my interview isn't coming up too soon. No sense going down there then have to turn around and come back for the interview.

*yawnnnnnnnnn*....time for bed.

I read the consulate reviews on this website for tips and what to expect at the interview. In case you haven't checked them out yet, here is the link.

On what to bring for your trip. I took some pepto bismol tablets, ac adapter for voltage change (probably 220v?), some goodies for my fiancee, etc.

Have a safe trip and good luck!

Well her physical is today she will be there as soon as she can in the am they open at 730 philippine time. Nervous, excited and a little cranky....Work hrs and co workers are driving me nuts along with all the BS of the preoces. The good thing though is her interview is the 29th of July, I am asumming that things are going to be just fine as we dont have anything to hide. She will be just fine as was this her first flight also to go to take the physical. 1 or 2 days for the phys. I just cant wait untill this process is over and she is here. But my NOA 1 was march 23rd and her interview is july 29th so we did not have to wait as long as others, i jsut need to eat more and get some sleep that is my problem...its surprising how if you dont get enough sleep and you dont get enough food it will make you one stupid person.haha to those that are still waiting hang in there. For those that are already done with everything...best of luck to you
