Dear VJ folks,

We are preparing documents for our interview at the US embassy, Abu Dhabi, and thus have a few documentation questions that we are doubtful of. We would like to know what documents can be shown to the consular as parent's approval. On the petitioner's side we have parent's letters of approval printed, signed and notarised. On the beneficiary side we have parent's letter and sister of the beneficiary signed with their ID proof such as Passport copy. Please note that the parents on both the sides haven't met in person but have conversed via phone and thus we have the phone log too. So in summary :-

For parent's approval proof, We have the following documents :-

  1. Petitioner's Parent's approval letters - Signed and Notarised
Petitioner's Brother's support letter - Signed and Notatrised
    Beneficiary's Parent's approval letters - Signed only
    Beneficiary's Sister's support letter - Signed only
Phone log of the Petitioner contacting the Beneficiary's mother's residence

We want you to tell us what more do we need to prove our parent's approval?

I would like to remind you guys that the parent's haven't met in person with each other but have conversed via telephone. I know the pictures of me with my fiance's family would be golden but due to traditional and cultural differences we aren't able to do so and thus obtained the letters and logs. So if there is anything else that could boost us, Please let us know.

Thank you
