DS230 being returned

Is it standard practice to have the DS230 sent back from the Embassy? It is marked: 'This form is being returned to you complete'.

However, later on it states that I didn't provide my place of residence from 1993-1995 and could I fill it in. Does this mean I keep it with me and take it to my interview or mail it back so the Embassy has it before my interview?! Confused.

Hey

I don't know the answer for sure but I can imagine you're a bit worried about what to do. If the scenario you're in was me... I would call the Embassy direct and ask them, but I'm 99% sure you should complete/amend any discrepencies and forward it straight back via post.

They need these forms before they can assign you with an interview date. Hope this helps!

Thanks for your input. I already have my interview date so I'm okay there. And they only sent back Part I. Who knows what's going on?!

I would definitely try and speak to the Embassy directly to make sure you do it the correct way. Sorry, I suppose as we all know the consulates of each country vary their policies and procedures. It doesnt sound like a major discrepancy anyway. Give them a call direct!! Good luck!
