Hello All!!

My wife and I plan to send our application to Adjust of Status by THURSDAY and somehow we are confused on where to send them.

what my wife knew all along was to send it to the Chicago Lockbox address below:

AOS

131 South Dearborn, 3rd Floor

Chicago, IL 60603-5520

But I checked at USCIS forms tonight and read the instructions on I-485 forms and the address to mail forms changed to PHOENIX???

We are from California and we pretty much have everything ready on our packet for my wife and her daughter.

Also one other question is what is the best way to send the packet.. EXPRESS MAIL or FEDEX???

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Your prompt replies and inputs will be highly appreciated..

Have a look at the link in my signature called "AOS from K1" it has the correct address for K1's filing AOS.

It's not Phoenix.

** moving from "Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports" to "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" as the prior forum is for case updates/progress and this one is for questions**

Please re-read the instructions... find your adjustment classification (hint: Page 5, 1.D) Then locate the USCIS address for that classification (hint: page 6, right after L)

YMMV
