Help with a Ukraine Fiancee g-325a form. The country does not have states, it has regions. For example the city of Kiev, is in the Kiev Region. And the city of Kherson is in the Kherson region. So should she list the Ukraine Region for the state?

My fiancee is a private enterprenear (contractor of language translations in the Ukraine)

We are wondering how she should write this in the employment section?

Should she list the main companies and addresses she has contracted with for each year? Occupation Secretary/Translation services

Or should she list as follows

Full Name and Address of Employer Occupation

Private Entperpreneur (contractor), Kiev, Ukraine Secretary/Translation services

3) Also does she need the actual address for the company or just the City and Country?

the country has Oblasti ( "OH-bluhs-tee" plural of Oblast) as the next political subdivision, equivilent to a state. It ALSO has regions within an Oblast (similar to a "county") Some cities are also "regions". Kiev, Kharkov, Dniepropetrovsk for example. When it asks for "state or Province" list the name of the Oblast.

Yes, she should list the main "headquarters" within Ukraine for an employer, city and country is sufficient.

If she has been self employed and these companies are CLIENTS, they are not employers. she is "self employed" as a translator/interpreter. Alla did exactly the same thing for some 22 foreign business clients. We listed her as "self employed translator/interpreter/business representative, Donetsk, Ukraine"
