I've got to catch the bus for my class at 5:30. Ironically, they're having a huge protest about college tuition fee hikes & class cuts starting outside our building this very moment & marching over to city hall across the street. They like our building cause it has the state seal on the front & looks good for news reports. This will most likely cause a delay in the bus which will make me late to my class at college. America....gotta love it! :wacko:

Just received this e-mail from our community college:

This kinda ticks me off & here's why. EVERY semester I pay $17 for a student health center fee. I've NEVER used the student health center & most likely will not in the remaining time I have to take classes there. Why don't they take the damn $17 I get no benefit from but have to pay for & put it towards their cotton-pickin donation drive???? :protest::ranting:

OH no, everyone wants donations. My job makes over 30 million a year and the corporate office sent all of us in the admin office a donation letter. i was like ok but our techs on the floor still make 9 and 10 $ from 3 years ago no cost of living raise or nothing. That has me mad also. everyone wants $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ :angry:

I am in school right now for computer programming but I want to be a teacher.

LONG STORY but Im not starting my education over and now I have my eye on the prize only 8 more months for this bachelor, if I pass this Core Programming and C++ class :wacko:

Hey Yardies :blush: I had a long RAAASSS DAY!! left mi RAASCLAAAT ATM card inna di machine and did not notice until 8pm :angry::wacko::wacko: the bank was nice enough to second day air one out to me big up to Whitney at Bank of America :thumbs: for helping me or else i would have been STUCK cause there's no way i would have gotten that card by Wednesday :unsure: at the end of the day GOD IS STILL GOOD! :dance:

Ms. Sheka, I'm glad you were able to get a new ATM card by Wednesay...God is good!

Hope everyone is planning to have a great weekend...I have another busy day at work...I'll be popping in and out today! :whistle:

Well, VJ kept me so busy today that I only have about an hour before 4:00 & time to leave for my 5:30 (now dreaded) geometry class. Not too happy to be going since the last quiz. Totally BOMBED it.....made me so frustrated I could :crying::crying::crying: The teacher leaves a lot to be desired too. Tuesday we all showed up, sat there waiting for 20 minutes until one student coming in noticed the note next to the door by the bulletin board filled with event flyers. It was hard to see them there amidst all the chaos most people overlook. Good thing she spotted the note or we would've sat there longer. I was annoyed that I drove across the city for no reason. :angry:
