If you said SOME Americans I may have agreed but to sterotype us all? Im sorry I just don't agree. Ive worked 22 LONG DYAAM YEARS at the same job, which I believe due to the economy would let my rass go if need be, but I have an alternate plan on ready set go just incase! I am proud to say at the age of almost 40 years old I have returned to college to get my degree so that I no longer would have a job but a "career" at doing something I enjoy doing which is working with children.... So me lazy, nah sis.. in addition to that I was taking care of my sick mom, working full-time, school part-time, help raising my nephew and niece and helping my sick brother, raising one child who is bipolar.. where is the LAZINESS in that???

Wow Tee...you are a strong, determined, and loving person! (F)

awww mrstee.. that was real strength to be able to push the button.. i don't think i could do that..

i can imagine how you would feel letting those ashes go.. must be very emotional

It was SO emotional I believe I had a temporary lapse for real. They tried to get me back into the Limo when it was all over and I flat out refused to get in it... I rode in my girlfriends car where I had a half gallon of vodka and started drinking it out the bottle!!!! I won't ever ride in a limo again if I can help it..plus on the way to the cremation I was huggin my daughter so tight I was causing her to have an asthma attack, almost had to rush her to the hospital.. a mess

MrsTee, I have to agree with you.

JQ.... Just last night Tierra asked me what a "stereotype" was and I tried to explain it is a generalization on a group of people.

Of course I know some LAZY Americans.. but we cannot say ALL Americans are lazy. I feel like I work pretty hard myself. As I am sure you and everyone else on this board are hard workers.

I know I have dated a LAZY Jamaican too! ;) I never saw that man work and when I wouldn'y pay his way.. he found someone that would.

....when it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead LOOK beside you and I'll be there.....

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
