 That word always makes me laugh...it's one of my favs. I don't blame you for wanting to settle the house thing first....everything else can be done in small chunks after you take care of that.

Hi Ells...yes girl they real janky round this piece :bonk: but its all good. Yes I feel like between work, AOS paaperwork, and the house...I can barely think  but I guess that's life! :help:

Married life is good so far, can't complain. I'm sure getting the SSN will be a breeze.

I'm also here trying to sort out the AOS paperwork to get them off. So, how's Den adjusting to the his new life?

Hi T, Im so happy for you.. I can always tell by your posts how happy you are. Thats wonderful :)

Well athough Im feeling melancholy about my mommy, today is not a good day to visit my dad because they got divorced and he remarried, which ticks me off til this day, although his wife is a good woman. I just recently started having a better relationship with my father cause he was a biotch to us growing up. Sometimes I can be just like him but I do have compassion. I think because he and my hubby get along so well, Im trying for the sake of peace to forget the past but its really hard for me. I don't wish sickness on anyone but sometimes I wonder if he is being punished for the way he treated my mother.... I was so bad when she passed, I asked God why didn't he take him instead of her! But Ive prayed really hard to just accept him in my life and let the past be the past...innocent.gif

Just want you to know that you are NOT ALONE in feeling like that. (L)

You can e-mail it to me. LMAO I don't care what people think about me or my relationship so I keep it real at all times Q. If I worried about what people think of me or my relationsip I would have been divorced before I got married, You feel me. LMAO

:lol::thumbs: Me too!

Thats what im saying because im going on a cruise to the Bahamas in July and I haven't changed mine yetwacko.gif

That got me wondering if you can go with your old passport & just carry an original certified copy of your marriage certificate with you. I think that may be possible but I need to refresh my memory & see what can be done.

Don't worry, it will soon calm down! And then you can relax for a little while. My Mom always says when I'm feeling overwhelmed...."how do you eat an elephant?"....."one bite at a time." That means, no matter how big, just do a little piece at a time & eventually it'll get done.

Dillon.. I read your post again. That is soooo sweet that Mikal and Marley talked about that. I love it.

I think you could just call a family lawyer or someone similar and ask about names changes. In the states I think you would just have to say there is no contact with the birth father... put an add in the paper in the last known city annoucing you are looking for him or something and after 30 days... no answer then she is all Mikals.. but he is in JA so I am not sure. Maybe it would be easier!

Google it. :)

Thanks Irie...her Dad actually does live in the States so I am sure I would have to do the ad in the paper thing. I went to JCPenny's during lunch today and got this slammin shirt. Can't wait to go out and wear it tonight!!!!

Thanks Tee! We definitely over here literally waiting by the phone for the call. We're claiming it...

Praying for you!!! It is yours!!!!

He is actually doing good. He is glad he is not in the midst of all the madness although he feels bad for them.

I can imagine! I was just talking with Den last night and I was looking at him like I can't believe he is really here. I use to worry so much cause he worked super late at night and would have to be in taxis and things and where he lived was a very long and dark lane from the road...I'm not trying to say he is out of any less danger now that he is here cause Atlanta has its issues with crime and foolishness but I don't worry as much cause we're in the same country now.

You can use your old passport. When you book your ticket you just book it in the name on your passport. Simple as that!!!
