I was in labor for 24 with Tierra....

They gave me the epidural (thats what I planned for)... it wore off (never really "wore on").. wouldnt give me anymore had her natural in the end...

Hurt like H E double hockey sticks! I swore up and down and all over! And my Dr thought I was a sweet girl!! LOL

I think I have told you all this... Dr retired shortly after and told me Tierra's head was the BIGGEST SHE EVER DELIVERED!!! LOL!!

OUCH!

yes the pain was unbearable but I heard horror stories abt the epidural :blush:

omg.. i was scared of the epi too.. i was scared TOO DEATH that i was gonna move or do something wrong, somebody had told me i could be paralyzed gosh..that pain must have been worse tho.. cuz i gave in.. i had refused it twice..

lol.. do he have a good man in his life?? are any of his relatives married.. i think having a mentor or elder helps, alot of men don't know what a good husband looks like..

He had his Grandpa but I think Grandma did all the house stuff while he was inna bush. Other than that, not really. I'll show him what a good husband looks like! :devil:

I had my daughter natural...i just had an IV so i wouldn't get dehydrated but no epidural or spinal tap or anything like that...I started having contractions 6:am...I weighted it out...took a shower...drove my son to school....(this was dumb I admit cause the contractions would hit hard and I had to pull to the side until it stopped)...coming back home I had to make my husband drive cause i couldn't take the pain anymore...(he didn't have a license but i was willing to take the chance)...I had him drive me to my doctors office and he checked me and said to meet him at the hospital...Still tried to ride out the contractions and finally went to the hospital by 12:30pm...they hooked me up, water broke at 2:pm and had baby at 2:38pm...

DANG! You are ROBO (as in robocop)!

damn wish mine was that short after 29 hours of pain I wanted to cut someone -- but they gave me a drug called "stadol" and I wanted to have sex with everyone I met

mi know u baxide woudah deh laugh too -- but it makes everything go in slow motion...it doesn't take the pain away it takes the edge off -- I was high as hell

These women feel like society should not tell them how to have their babies. One lady had yours in the bathtub with her hubby's help...end up having twins because they also do not believe in sonograms, monitors, pre-natal care..nothing from the doctor.
