Hey Bunz (( waving))

Yes girl I know exactly what you mean, there are so many people who work for AirJ in our scheme and they are NOID about what this can mean for their jobs. I mean these people have worked for the company for years and this is extremely scary for them as they just don't know what to expect. I hope that under the new umbrella of Caribbean airlines their jobs will be preserved but who knows, especially in this economy.

Hey Philly!!! It's so sad...how they going to do those people like that with their jobs! These companies just don't care... :crying:

Tre, I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother & the unsympathetic hospital workers. They need more training.

1luv, what did you do when your husband was gone?

kj, the part of your dilemma that resonated with me was the friend who refuses to take her medicine. From experience, I know that can be rough on the people around her.

You can always put your own spin on the JOP...for $31 we made that courthouse holla on 2/14/10 bay-bay!

That's the same it cost here. And it was quick & easy. My parents, brother, niece, & aunt came with us; I have no regrets.

------------

We're doing a renewal ceremony in Jamaica in November, so that 1) Steven's family/friends can participate and 2) to get great pictures.

I'm having trouble thinking of a place or places for the guests from the USA to stay. My mother told me that her friends would rather pay more to have more luxury. My friends (and me) rather save money. So I'm thinking to provide 2 options: a nice all-inclusive (under $200/night per person) and a nice but inexpensive other hotel or resort (under $100/person). They can be in Negril or Montego Bay, or somewhere between (like Lucea). Any recommendations?

You made my mouth water with that statement. I LOOOOOOOVE bananas foster.

Dave & Buster's has a bananas foster pie with tons of sliced bananas on top & caramel drizzled over the whole thing. I may have to make a D&B run just for that one of these days.

Yummy, He's actually making a banana foster ice cream cake but just seeing the bananas in the sauce on the stove make my mouth water. LMAO We went to D&B a few weeks ago but it was like a 2hr wait to eat so we left and went to Fridays..

Try the Grand Palladium in Lucea. The have been running all kind of specials for like $99 a night. The only thing about people staying at AI and others at a non AI is that you'll have to pay to go on the AI property if you think you'll need to do that. Negril has a lot of nice places and I love, love, love the beach there. I can send you some recommendations.

Yeah Nat, I definitely have no regrets at all! Our day was perfect...

Aww that's going to be nice a renewal ceremony in November. I'm not sure of any places since I have only stayed at two resorts during my stay in JA...I did have a great experience at Iberostar in MoBay...their food was awesome...5 star resort with three levels of hotels on the property about 20 miles from Sangster International airport.

Thanks so much. Hubby is so excited, my mom took him around all day yesterday job hunting and a friend of her's had an auto detailing/tinting etc. biz and was looking for someone. Tre, many prayers go out to you and your family. I will contact you lata. (F)(L)

:wow: she looks STUNNING!!

I (L) her

I gotta run but I have to post this

Ok I'm not having a big wedding, just a little something in a church for the sake of having some nice pictures then us and whoever I invite all go out to eat, in other words no reception. This is the dilema: my family isn't too thrilled to see that I'm getting married, my guess is that because my sister's husband just up and left when he got his greencard. I don't want to go somewhere too fancy or expensive to eat when #1 I have to foot the bill, #2 my family won't even eat because it's not Jamaican food or rather, food that they know and #3 why invite them and they're not so thrilled?

My other alternative is to invite my best friend, (we've been friends since preschool so we go deep) BUT she's paranoid schizophrenic, doesn't take it serious and thus doesn't take her meds. So I'm stuck as to what to do, who to invite and how to approach the situation with my family. A friend of mine said I should just grab a witness, go down to Atlantic City, get married and screw the family and friend but I have to think that I'm coming back home to this crazy family and friend. What to do, what to do?????:unsure::unsure:

Personally I think just the two of you will suffice
