I agree that ML and CC did cross the line sometimes but she was suspended for that. Having said that, you yourself engaged in a flaming war when you called someone an idiot and committed numerous TOS violations in a closed thread. ML and CC is/are not the only one/s to violate TOS. So did you.

I enjoy reading your posts but I don't like those where you sound arrogant, very condescending or where you resort to name-calling when the discussion gets heated. Your online persona says a lot about who you are as a "real" person.

Bottom line, let us not judge others lest we be judged ourselves. As I've said, people make mistakes. SB/ST apologized publicly so we should just accept that and move on. I hope this is the end of this discussion.

1st. Ewok states that all of a members accounts can be terminated if created with the intent to violate TOS. IMO, the intent is obvious. But since she apologized, sure, give her another chance.

2nd. I have no problem being challenged. You don't "like" something I post, feel free to express it.

3rd. Exactly. Online persona does speak volumes about the person. Including a "deputy moderator" that chooses to pick sides and encourage the (chosen) side to name calling and insults. I was called a "B" ( by your chosen side) in the thread you participated in. Is that a "deputy moderator" violation of TOS? To pick sides and flame a discussion? Idiot or "B"? which is more suited to your "liking"?

4th. I have no problem being accountable (remove my post or warn me if I violate TOS) and criticized (free to dislike or disagree with me). I'm not so pretentious and don't think others should be free to commit ban-rule violations at the discretion of your "liking".

5th. I doubt you will let this be the end of this discussion.

I became Deputy Mod in late November 2009. I remember engaging you in a discussion when I defended a Pinay whom you assumed the worst of, but I believe that was before I was offered the assignment. If you still have a link to the thread and you find that indeed I chose to pick sides and encouraged name calling and insults (as a Deputy Mod), please feel free to report me to Capt. Ewok.

Just a note, Mods can still participate in discussions as regular members as long as we keep our objectivity. If we are participating as mods, we usually end our post with "VJ Moderation Team".

Unfortunately, IP addresses are not a good unique identifier for a variety of reasons. There really isn't a good automated duplicate account detection algorithm that I am aware of.
