Has anyone every been in a situation where you SHOULD have gotten an RFE? Like you realize an error on a form or something that should have dinged you, but either they overlooked it or simply didnt care? I have a possible RFE and am just trying to get my hopes up to think that JUST MAYBE it wont be a big deal??? :D

Many of us have worried about multiple possible errors...did I sign with the wrong colour ink, were my photos the right size, did I press too hard on the back of my photos, did I answer each question correctly etc , etc. You can worry yourself sick about such things but all you can do is wait and see and deal with it as it comes. Hang in there and good luck.

The person who determines a "ding-able" offense is the USCIS. Despite what we may all think, not all things we get concerned or fret about are sufficiently important to send an RFE. The USCIS adjudicators are incentivized to approve petitions so they do whatever they can to do so with the information submitted.

I was wondering the same about the G-235A because on mine, I listed residency addresses from the day I was born, because I only had 3 different ones, and from when I lived in America for 8 months on a J1 Visa (nobody had any advice for me whether to include it or not) and we left out one address where my husband lived (7 Months missing to make up the 5 years) because the box was full. We forgot to add an additional page.

I hope those "errors" are not big enough to require an RFE...

What do you think you got an RFE for?

My potential RFE is on page two of the DS230, question 30 where they want present and past addresses from my husband since he was 16. We accidently put (for his prior address) his birth date to present, instead of when he was age 16 to the most current address.

You would THINK they would get what we mean, but.. ugh...

I know how you feel,I feel the same way too. I had a completed DS230 at home but my husband mailed me teh signed page and the rest of the info for the packet. On the second page I had trouble remembering dates too, my husbad was working and he couldn't hear me so I just put APPROX for dates and I messed up on the kids B-days used white out  I am also hoping and praying they don't reject it because of this. Guess we just have to wait and see what happens. We are also hoping and praying for an April interview. :clock:

I really have to make a timeline but our DS230 was received on 3/3/10 eventhough they don't have it in their system yet so I guess I am hoping for a miracle right now. They start scheduling interviews next week until the 15th I believe. So far eveything has been going pretty fast and not what their estimated timeframe is. The fee bills were processed in 24 hrs and the I864 was processed in a week.
