Help with AOS and DS-230

Hi,

We've paid all the visa fees and now are a bit confused as to what we should include in the packages, etc. Please help

We have the cover pages for both AOS and DS-230 (emailed from USCIS site after payments show as PAID). We just received another email from USCIS that it also says to include as a cover page, but I am not sure into what package? The email says "NVC INQUIRY - NLH PM INST PKT AGENT". Is that the same as a cover sheet for DS-230 that I sent myself as an email from the USCIS site?? Or is it smth different? They look different, they both have barcodes with our case number, and the NVC INQUIRY email says it's part of the Applicant Document Processing.

I thought I had this all figured out but now I am really confused Please advise what we should do! Thanks

I apologize for the confusion, I was talking about NVC. I have read both James' and LingChe's guides and have been following them. I already paid all the fees and we are now ready to send in both I-864 and DS-230 packages.

I know we are supposed to include barcode cover sheets from the NVC website (we have those printed out), but I am really not sure what this new email with a barcoded cover sheet means? If that's simply a duplicate of DS-230 cover sheet I emailed myself after paying the fees or this is something that my husband (as my agent) is supposed to include as well?

Also, I couldn't find the March 2010 NVC thread - could you please give me a link?

After AOS bill fee shows as paid you can print out the coversheet for AOS which will go on top of the I-864. Once you have paid IV bill, print the coversheet for that which goes on top of the DS-230 and supporting documents.

here's Christeen's time tested formula to get you through NVC in one piece alive:

Petitioner: Get NVC # + give operator your email IDs + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send I-864 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page.

Beneficiary: Get NVC# + receive DS3032 + send DS3032+ DS3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay & wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail DS230 package with all original/certified documents

= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled.
