Added in my Approved Date, assuming it hasn't changed. Once again USCIS seemed to have misplaced my file (they did it back during the K1 process too... ugh) and even though I got an approval notice in the mail my online status never updated and 60 days went by with no green card. I called USCIS earlier this month to sort it out and they had absolutely no record of my ever being approved. I was escalated to an agent and she put in an inquiry... and today I got a card production ordered e-mail! Because of the strangeness with the approval I'm curious to see if the date is different when I get the card. I will come back and change the list if that turns out to be the case.

Thank you! I did a somewhat subpar job on putting together the package (unlike the AOS package which was over the top). Just one monthly statement from paying our mortgage, one monthly statement of our joint account, one tax return and a few airline itineraries for trips we took back home. No pictures. I thought maybe I should have gone to the trouble of copying out many months of statement and returns, but figured if they wanted more they could ask, and I just tried to put in the best of the evidence.

Is anyone keeping their documentation for everything on file? Like applications, copies, prior visas etc? I have a bundle of paperwork, and it sure would feel good to shred it once I have my 10 year green card in hand.

We went ahead and filed an infopass even though it's only been almost 5 months since we filed...appointment is next Tuesday and hopefully they can tell us what the heck is holding it up!

10-2005- met in Wales & began dating (We were students)

07-2005- found out we were pregnant (and they said I couldn't conceive-yay!!)

09-2005- vacation in Croatia where he sneakily bought my engament ring w/o me knowing

10-2006- he proposed

11-13-2006- mailed I-129F

11-22-2006- NOA1

11-30-2006- Touched

23-01-2007- Pete comes to the US to stay as a tourist for 90 days-no problem arriving on a one way ticket!

13-02-2007- NOA 2 (email)

20-02-2007- NOA 2 (postal letter)

05-03-2007- Packet 3 received

08-03-2007- Packet 3 stuff mailed back

08-03-2007- Baby Samuel is born!

23-03-2007- Packet 4 received

25-05-2007- Medical exam

27-04-2007- interview date

02-05-2007- Visa received!

11-05-2007- Pete flies back to the U.S.

06-25-2007- We get legally married

07-18-2007- Mail off EAD and AOS

We tried calling USCIS already and they had no info for us besides what we could find online (remember how when we were doing K1 you had to wait like a million years on hold and then they sometimes could tell you things that you didn't know online? Well now you don't have to wait more than 5 minutes but they can't tell you anything you don't already know!)

So that's why we filed an infopass. Nothing since 4/8 though they did some touching on some other stuff around 5/22 and 6/26. I mean, in another 6 weeks it's going to hit 6 months for us. Our infopass appointment is tomorrow morning, so hopefully we'll learn something.

Ok, so we got back from our infopass which wasn't very long. We've been selected for interview and they are waiting to make our appointment (???).

So...that's pretty much it. Our case has been transferred to Hartford for the interview, but since they don't do these interviews daily, then that means we have to wait.

They did allow us to attach a note to our file requesting that they don't schedule our interview while we're out of the country, but the person we talked to said that may or may not help (we're leaving for a week at the end of August).

I had a suspicion we'd gotten pegged for an interview. Hope they'll let us know when it is soon!

Thanks for reporting about your infopass, I guess we are probably in the same situation also, we sent our paperwork at the same time as you and we haven't heard anything yet.

Yeah I was thinking about you too today because I knew you were right up there with us in this list.

AND as it turns out, INFOPASS didn't give us all the info, because I just got the mail...

...and in the mail, was our interview appointment letter. Dated 7/26 for 8/25. I mean, they couldn't tell us when we were RIGHT THERE that our interview was scheduled? :girlwerewolf2xn:

I'm so mad right now I could probably scream because it's right during the week we were supposed to not be here, so now we have to postpone our vacation at least into September :(.
