NOA Date = The Receipt Date on your original NOA letter

I checked online for my case status because just getting 2 emails for my son and not for me seemed a little off, but hey, that's USCIS for ya. Anyways, it says I was approved as well. I won't do a happy dance until I have the card in my hand lol.

W8INGLONGTIME:As hard as it is, try to not think so much about it. That's what I finally did about a week before I posted that I haven't heard anything. It's like waiting for toast to cook. If ya just stand there, it takes forever. Keep your hopes up high though. You will hear something soon.

Thanks for the advice to keep my cool and take my mind off the long wait. I leave for Ghana for a 2 week vacation so atleast I will be pre-occupied with fun stuff for 2 weeks. Hopefully I will have a nice suprise waiting in the mail when I get back. Congrats again.

I've been looking throughout this thread because I'm curious about a few things but I can't seem to find what i'm looking for...we sent our I-751 packet to the Vermont center in the beginning of May, my husband had his biometrics appt June 8 and I keep checking our status on USCIS.gov but it still says 'Initial Review'...please tell me thats normal, it stays at Initial Review for awhile.

Also, are the majority of you having to go to a final interview, or do most receive automatic approvals?

They could be waiting on your fingerprints to clear.

Why don't you join "May Filers" list Here?

"Initial Review" after Biometrics is quite normal. Next status change is sudden "Card Production Order"(aka approval)

Possibility of interview at ROC is like 5%. So, if you don't get RFE, just wait for approval
