The easy pile is done, that's all. Now, they are going through the "heavier" applications. whistling.gif

My guess is that it depends on which staff is working on your case. Some are quick, some are slow...

Mine was very simple and "light", but it took little more time than average.

Since USCIS announced that it has redesigned GC on 5/12, it looks they are trying to send new card as much as possible and delay card production order on already approved case...

You can see that in this thread. card production order

They are busy working on already approved case and maybe stop approving new case for now...

But who knows! Maybe you can see approved case tomorrowwink.gif

I got an email notification that says my husband's card has been ordered and will be received within 30 days!

Maybe my guess was wrong. VSC approved at least 1 case (Feb filer) today!!

Has anyone traveled with an expired GC and the NOA letter? I just want to make sure this letter (NOA) is enough. The letter does say "your card has been extended for one year... you may travel and work..." BUT again, i just want to make sure. Thanks!

It means exactly what it says and you will have no problem coming back. People use the NOA everyday so do not lose sleep over it. Safe travels.

I am completely new into this forum.

03/16 - Letter 1Year extension.

04/09 - Taken FingerPrints

On May 27, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283

I think that the applicants in the forum are just a little example of what's going on in VSC or CSC. If nobody here gets approved it doesn't mean they are not approving it probably depends on the state where you are also applying from. I had a huge pile of evidence and there we go. Good luck to everybody :P

Congrats, Boyinflorida! I just checked my cellphone and a text message at 7pm: Case status updated! them my e-mail:

On May 27, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. I guess we were in the same pile for approvals today :D I live in Florida too by the way.
