USCIS Website shows RFE

So we applied 2/5/10, not sure when the check was cashed, but the NOA1 came in 2/16/10 and we just today got our notice for fingerprints for 3/17/10. The fingerprint notification states has a notice date of 2/25/10.

When I attempted to check the case status on the USCIS website, it says a RFE was sent - doesn't clarify. It has the same date of 2/25/10.

My question is that when the fingerprint notification is sent, does the USCIS website generically show a RFE notice, or do you think I will be receiving a RFE request in the next coming days? The only thing that makes me think that it is the same thing is that the dates are the same...

The evidence that they are likely seeking is the fingerprints at the Biometrics apt.

99% of the time, the RFE status online means you have either been sent a notice for biometrics or they are in the process of receiving your biometrics. Your status online should change a week or two weeks after you take your biometrics.

Same thing here...EXCEPT that the fingerprint notice has a date of Feb 25, and the RFE note in online status/email notification has a date of Feb 24....so we're still waiting to see if anything else arrives in the mail. Very confusing!
