G-325A questions.

1) Should the File Number be left blank or write "none"?

-------------

2)

My fiancee lives in Kiev, Ukraine now and has been there for the past 7 years. Her registration address is from Kherson, Ukraine where her parents live.

On the G-325A

It asks...

Applicant's residence last five years

and

Applicant's last address outside the USA of more then one year.

My fiancee thinks she should put her registration address (kherson) in the line (Applicant's last address outside the USA of more then one year)

Any opinions on what they are asking for here?

I think she should just use her Kiev address where she lives now for the past 7 years for both. But she said she read somewhere to use here registration address for the (Applicant's last address outside the USA of more then one year.).

Any thoughts on this?

Also the, "Applicant's last address outside the USA of more then one year." says From and To, if they are currently living there should they put in the TO field? the month we submit the form? because she will continue to live there until she gets the visa. Or should she put in the TO field, leave the month blank and just write 2010?

None for file number. If the current address is the last one of more than a year, then simply indicate "Current address above". Otherwise pick the correct line above and repeat it.

She should list her actual residence in Kiev for the last 7 years and that is all. (if that is where she has actually lived for the last 7 years) That is also her "last address outside the USA" Her official registration address means nothing to USCIS or the consulate. They want to know where she really lives, not where she tells Ukrainian authourties she lives. They couldn't care less about that. They want accurate information, not lies. They do not care if she lies to Ukrainian authorities...most people do.

the "to" field would be indicated as "Presently" or just enter "same as above" as already mentioned by Pushbrk. You will also find it easier if she signs blank forms and sends them to you for you to fill out. Best, IMHO if only ONE person fills out forms.

Thanks for the quick advice.

Is it ok for me to complete the form and send it to her to sign, she scans it and sends it back to me via email and I print it out? Since it says on the cover letter and form fc-029 that photo copies are acceptable.
