Can i book a one way ticket and when issued with the visa does it tell you how to book the ticket? Looking at booking my ticket today(one way)

Yes, book a one way if that is cost effective. Just buy the best ticket at the best price.

There is nothing with the visa about booking your travel. That is your choice. :)

Congratulations and good luck in your new life together.

Yes, you can book a one-way ticket as long as the airline permits it. Some airlines do not permit one way tickets from their country to the USA because the airline is responsible for your return if you are not admitted at POE. I think Garuda Air is like that.

But you should get the best fare (as the other response said) and come on over.

congratulations.

As for flights, i would recommend booking a return ticket for the 90day period. If that is an option for you. It will look good at the POE that you are prepared to return home if, and i hope they dont, go to plan. Also in my experience a return ticket hass cheaper than a one way. (i never worked this one out, how can two flights be cheaper than one?)

Do plenty of searching on the internet to find the best deal on your flight, often the same fight will have sold many places to outside booking agencies and so its a case of finding which one of these is giving the best price, also consider taking a longer journey to reduce the cost, yet again more plane rides = less money.. bizzare.. but generally true.

I have spent so much time on planes in the last few years that price shopping and finding the best deal has become almost easy.

good luck and congratulations again.
