Quck question on DS-230 package

I have read that all that is needed to send to the NVC is the NBI clearance from the philippines. Is that correct? We do have police clearances for Mhay's hometown (in maiden and married names) are they required or just extra junk for them to nit-pick over? I am putting together the package and need to know if I should send the Police Clearances along with the NBI... Just need some reassurance that I am doing it right. Thanks

im trying to call them now...it's busy....

I asked once before, but they said I wasnt expedited. Maybe the operator just said that, or maybe things changed in the past year. I hope this is true, but i am still getting the package ready...it would be much better feeling to be sending this back to my wife and not the NVC

HMMM i don't know. Even if I just had to send a copy of my military orders here or from my deployment to the NVC, that would be better. I was under the understanding that I would have to call at each stage of the process to expedite. When the USCIS expedited our case, they didnt ask for orders or anything...just my APO zipcode.

i think because you were already deployed when you call them being in the military you should use all your benefits to get your wife faster you can even get her a plane ticket for free and you will get paid also when she gets here ;)

I dont know how i will get her here for free as i have been at my current duty station for over a year now.

I did call them and they said I had to send an expedite request in to the NVC in a separate envelope with my request and military orders...but they said to just send in the DS-230 and I-864 packages to them anyway.

when did your RFE come into play? it was before the NVC right? or was it after it went there?

Where is he stationed? I dont think I would be eligiable for that as i was previously married and I am not in an "overseas" location....it is an overseas location, but we dont get all the benefits of overseas.

So back to the original question...My wife only needs the NBI clearance from the PI and not separate police clearances right? I dont want to send anything extra if I dont need to.

Thanks
