Ok, so my husband sent his police certificate for me. There are two apparently. Under his picture it says "to be signed by named person" but he didnt sign it. Was he supposed to? Should I sign it for him? Also, do I need to send BOTH the original certificates, or just one. I want to send our DS230 today, but STUCK on this. can someone please help me?

I am not sure, I was never told any specific instructions when I asked NVC about the police certificate. What did you do?

Well, I went ahead and sent it AS IS and took some advice not to do anything and they would have him sign it at the interview. Gosh, things are so confusing all around!

I am freaking out right now.. I received the papers for my husband at work and I didn't have the DS230 with me so I redid it and I could not remember dates for the life of me. My husband was working and could not hear me or remember dates that well either. I ended up using white out on one of the pages. I am really hoping and praying they don't throw the DS230 back at us. Everything else was ok but just a few questions have me a wreck. I know it's a long shot but maybe we can get an April interview too. By the way he had signed his police certificates. Oh what a day.

Both of us are a wreck!!! White out?!?! Oh wow.. you sound like me. I rushed my papers, cuz I wanted the DS230 out THAT DAY. My husband didnt sign his police certificates, was told not to, so oh well. All we can do is cross our fingers!

Wishing you luck and hoping we can chat since our situations (and blunders) seem so alike!
