Hi all,

My fiancee went for her interview today and the officer gave a 221g requesting a DNA from both of us and our child. Is this considered Ap? and would the petition be sent back to the US?

The letter the CO gave to her said we should contact them after the tests are done, does anyone have any idea how this works?

Thanks.

I dont think this is AP they just want to make sure that your child is your child after the DNA results are back if that is all that they were requiring you should get your visa

It is common in Nigeria to ask for DNA on a child. Many people try to sneak children over. You will have to find a DNA test lab that is approved and pay for the tests and wait on the results. I have heard prices varying between 700 to 3000 and the wait time being several months for the results.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
