What other forms needed in petitioning your parents?

Hi I'm about ready to submit my parents petition but I have some questions, Please help.

1.) When you petition your parents, aside from FORM I-130 do you include Form G-325A for each of your parents and yourself or not?

2.) Am I right to understand that you don't file the FORM I-485 (AOS) with the fee of $1050 each together with their I-130 since they are not currently inside US? You only file these if they already in US, right? The DS-3032 & AOS fees for them is $70 each and not the $1050 each if they are currently residing in their own country, right?

3.) Am I also right to understand that the order of the process in petitioning your parents is this:

a. File I-130 together with $355 fees each

b. NVC case will be assigned then afterwards when it's approved.

c. Mail DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) and Pay $70 each for AOS

d. Mail I-864 Affidavit of Support (Need clarification: Do I need to mail this together with the DS 3032 or separate? Wait till I get to pay AOS and the IV fee Bill?)

e. IV fee Bill generated and then paid $400 each

f. Mail DS 230

g. And so if you try to Log In and you can't, that means USCIS/NVC is doing a final review of your case?

h. Case Complete

i. Medical then Interview

j. Visa granted yey!

Oh, and regarding the DS-3032(Choice of Agent) and I-864 (affidavit of support), do I submit one of each for my parents? Or is one DS 3032 and I-864 covers for the both of them?

You need to submit ORIGINAL documents along with DS-230 packet. Make sure you get it ready by that time...

ORIGINAL Marriage Certificate/Divorce (if any) for Petitioner and Beneficiary

ANSWER: NO you should not include G-325 A.

Answer: You dont have to file I-485. You will file only I-130 at this time and once it is approved then your case will be moved to NVC and once the case in moved to NVC, they will assign case numbers to your case and then the process at NVC starts. DS-3032 (choice of agent form, you pay $70 for both the parents and you will file I-864 affidavit of support and then you will file DS-230. Typically Your case is called I-130 for Consular Processing )

First you will pay $70 AOS fee and then you will mail DS-3032 and then after you get email from NVC about I-864 then You will mail I-864. After the DS-3032 is accepted/entered into NVC system, you will get email for IV Fee Bill and after paying IV Fee bill, the status changes to PAID and then you will print document cover sheet and send this along with DS-230 packet. )

e. IV fee Bill generated and then paid $400 each YES

f. Mail DS 230 Yes will mail along with Document Cover Sheet

g. And so if you try to Log In and you can't, that means USCIS/NVC is doing a final review of your case? YES

h. Case Complete YES

i. Medical then Interview YES

j. Visa granted yey! YES

Please, I am preparing to file for my mum, Dad not interested in relocating/visiting here. So from the reply above G325A isn't needed? Secondly, what prove of relationship will you advice me to submit along with I130.

Raj456, In addition to I130, my proof of citizenship, what else is required (do i have to sent passport size pictures of myself and for my mum too).

What I submitted for proof of relationship, is my Birth Certificate with my mother's name on there. My marriage certificate, proof that I change my name. My mother's birth certificate, proof that Mrs.___ is really her. My parents' marriage certificate(for father's petition, proof that I'm legally his daughter) and some photos of me and my parents. That's it...I don't know if there needs to be more.

Yes, just BC. And I only sent the photocopies.
