Hey all,

I recently received my AP notice in the mail, and saw online that my EAD has been approved and has been sent out on Feb 24. While I was checking the rest of my notices online, there was a statement stating that my case has been transfered to the CSC. Is this a bad thing? or does this mean I will not be getting an interview?

I'm confused because I have noticed that other people here on VJ have gotten an interview appointment letter before the approval and receipt of their EAD/AP.

Usually people who get transferred don't get an interview. There have been a few who got transferred back to their local service center due to something in their case, but overall most get approved without one.

not having an interview would definately take a "load off" so to speak ^_^

I just don't want to have to travel out of state for an interview, you know?

I finally got the notice that says that my case has been transferred. How long do ya'll think it will take for my AOS to get approved from the time I got my notice? I checked the timeline on the web site and it says they are working on August cases still, but my notice says it was transferred to speed processing up. So im quite confused.

You won't get an interview and it is possible that your case will be approved faster.

I've been hearing that alot. I hope being approved faster turns out to be true. Either way, I would be just as happy (interview or not) it's the waiting and suspense that is making me anxious. I believe that I may have said that earlier or something along the lines of it would take a load off if it went through without an interview.
