i'm sure that will work wonders with some thug with a gun.

Almost all workplaces forbid their employees from bringing a weapon to work, so that means she won't be able to protect herself with a gun to and from her car when she goes to work, for one. Secondly, most businesses require you to check all weapons before entering into their establishment, or restrict any weapons...like banks...places she's most likely to be driving to and from. So when you look at the few situations where a woman can legally carry a gun to and from her car, she'd be better off learning self defense as well as safety fundamentals. Reducing the chance of ever being in dangerous situation where they can end up being victimized is the best thing they can do.

Don't you carry a taser and pepper spray in your purse? I have them in MY European hand bag.

:secret: that's the mark of a real democrat!

that works the same for even those who carry. just because one is packing does not mean dark alleys in the seedy sides of town are worth exploring.

I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.

It's a purse. You cross dresser you. Take that!! :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

You're just jealous. You don't have one. -_-

In my experience, the best sheep are attracted to the man who stylishly carries a hand bag from the latest European fashion designers.

Protecting oneself from bodily harm is along that same logic, IMO. There are many ways to protect yourself from bodily harm that are much more effective than carrying a gun, however, one should be able to reasonably protect themselves in whatever capacity, provided doing so doesn't unreasonably endanger the lives of others around you.

I prefer carrying a gun and endangering the life of anyone that would endanger mine, thank you. I believe in freedom of choice. The firearm that is a constant close companion to me is of no threat to anyone unless they decide they want to injure me or my family, then I will do my best to kill them.
