When I file for I-864, what information do I need from my co-sponsor.. and the Tax returns do we need to go to the IRS and request them for past 3yrs returns or just send NVC our 3 years e-filing papers? Please someone help me.. Thanks

The instructions for the I-864 or I-864EZ are pretty clear on this. It's critical that you read them carefully. Also, the I-864 is not used for the now obsolete K3 visa. If you submit an I-864, it will be for a CR1 or IR1 visa.

on my co-sponsor <that doesnt live in the same house> what I am sending in is:

I-864

Birth Certificate & copy of DL

1099 for current year

turbo tax <09,08 & 07>

6 months of paystubs

For me, I called the IRS and got them to fax me my tax transcripts... took 20 mins... I ordered them 6 weeks ago and still have not recieved them in the mail.. SO I will be sending in the faxed copies... when in doubt or in a hurry I would just get your co sposor to call the IRS and have the transcripts faxed to him...
