K-1 sent in without supporting documents

Hello how you doing sir/ madam,

I am bit confused my girlfriend she did the fiance visa for me right. But she forgot to send the whole file she just send in the petition form l-129f , and we got the letter says we have recieve this petition from you and it sayin initial review on site now , we just send the whole documents now...... You think it will take longer to be approved now we made the package from this site like how ever they have said it......Help Help help !!

It is not recommended that people send additional 'stuff' without USCIS first requesting it (in an RFE notice) which they probably will do.

Best thing to do now is sit and wait - it would appear they did not catch the missing 'stuff' when they first got the package so they will not likely catch it until they get around to looking at the file again; so it might take a while. (The reason for waiting is there is no guarantee that what you or she sends will actually catch up with your file.)

Also suggest you not post your email address in open forums (for your own benefit).

It seekms she did not forget the check...lol.

It may not be as bad as it seems.

We got an RFE for incorrect document....and on the RFE it said exactly what what needed.

We sent the Response to RFE the next day and it took only 14 days to get the approval from that time.

The RFE letter states that 14 days is the minimum time it will take to process the RFE.

It's not too bad a situation as long as you have all the documents ready to go....good luck!!!

Let me show you what she have send now ,

(She Allready send the l-129F before With check they opened the file on 3rd FEB , then now on 23rd of feb she send those all things were neended right? IS it all we needed to send em right Its saying Initial review on site like i told u before, This is what she sent now is it all good now?

5.Original statements (from both the US Citizen and foreign fiance) certifying an intent to marry within 90 days of entering the US on a valid K-1. (see example)

6.Proof of having met in past two years. (click here for examples)

7.G-325A filled out by the US Citizen signed and dated (see example).

8.One passport-type photo (see specification) of the US Citizen. Write the full name of the US citizen on the back. Place in a plastic bag and label the bag "Photo of <Insert US Citizen's Name>". Attach the bag to a sheet of paper and place behind the corresponding G-325a.

9.G-325A filled out by the foreign fiance(e) signed and dated (see example).

If the previous marriage of the US Citizen and/or foreign fiance(e) ended due to the death of their spouse then include a Copy of Death Certificate(s) documenting that fact.

13.Proof of Legal Name Change if either the US Citizen and/or foreign fiance(e) is using a name other than that shown on the relevant documents. You must give USCIS copies of the legal documents that made the change, such as a marriage certificate, adoption decree or court order.

14.In regards to Section C Question 2, if applicable provide certified copies of all court and police records showing the charges and dispositions for any specified conviction(s) (in accordance with the IMBRA). See section 9 of the I-129f instructions for more information.

Do not send anything else to the USCIS until you get an RFE, then send what they want. Raed the guides and instructions, it will serve you well in the long run. If she cannot do this, pay someone that will.

the other things she sent will likely not get put together with the first things she sent and will likely be returned since there is no check and no I-129f. There is the outside possibility a USCIS mail room clerk that has a functioning brain will open it and try to figure it out. Not likely...on either account.

I hope she made copies of everything so they are ready to send for the RFE when it comes.

She have put the File number they send to check online and i think its RFE Number right? Isnt ? Starts With WAC******** And had the cover letter on it as well So Hopefully they will know where to go this file as well?

You can hope until the cows come home but you'll still have to wait and see. While waiting, be prepared to send the same thing again in response to an RFE. If your papers catch up to each other, it will be the first such report we've heard.
