Does anyone know how or if you can track your case after USCIS sends it NVC and they forward to consulate or Embassy?

Ok here is some information I have saved from a previous post:

1) Two days after NOA2, starting calling NVC: 603-334-0700 press 1 then 5.

2) Once NVC has your case, they assign a new case #. Ask them what date they sent your file to the embassy & also for the NVC case #.

3) Once you know the date NVC sent off the file, track it at DHL's website: http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef

EXAMPLE: (adjust dates to fit your senario)

A)Enter EXP 10 FEB 2010A as the reference number

B)Set the date field as from Feb 10, 2010 and the To: Feb 11, 2010

C)Press Track

4) To find out if the embassy processed the packet, call the Dept of State before 5pm: 202-663-1225 press 1 then 0

Once you know that the embassy has your file, you should go ahead and schedule an interview appointment. They will provide you the web address for the requirements and additional tips (they will probably not mail out a packet three as you can go to the website and print out the information).

Remember when you call the Manila embassy you will have to purchase a Pin which you can use within 90 days to call and setup the interview appointment.

A week after NVC forwarded your case to USEM, start calling the Embassy to confirm that they have received it and have it entered in their system. Good luck and congratulations!
