For reasons that are obvious the law does not accomodate such methods of settling differences, it would be anathama to the principals that underpin the US legal system. That doesn't mean that people don't go ahead and beat each other up nor does it mean that every time two people go at it their activities reach the notice of the legal system.

Our legal system is founded on principals? Who are they?

I don't see any reason why 2 grown adults who can legally sign a contract, can't have a fight and/or duel if they so desire.

Wouldn't a gentlemanly video game duel be a lot less painful?

Imagine that.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
