plz help me, getting ready to send out our form 1 130..but still confused about many things .any help will be helpful. 1. where do u get a cover letter from or do u just write it out.2.we got married at the court but did our wedding ceremony at the church,should i send the court marriage certificate or do i need to get one from the church? 3.we have a child together do i need to fill out a seperate appilcation she is below 1yr old. 4. we were married 2008 and i am filing 2010 is that too long of a time and 5.we were denied k-1 should we use an attorney?..thx. u guys have always been helpfull.

Timeline

1. You write it yourself; keep it short.

2. Court- it is the legal stuff that counts here. You can use photos of the church wedding later, at the interview. towards the bonafide evidence.

3. Yes, a separate application (can be sent together). BUT your child is most likely a US citizen by birth through you and won't need a visa. When and how did you become a US citizen?

4. No problem, you can file anytime.

5. Depends on why you were denied- the reason for the denial will still need to be overcome. Also, what happened after the denial? Ie, did you jsut tlet it die, appeal, withdraw?

It would also help to know which country your wife is from btw.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

ok ..do u write a short history of how u met ur wife or list of documents ur sending on cover letter ? through naturlization and we dont have enough pictures from court marriage but have lots of pics from church wedding.our k-1 was denied b/c CO claimed that it was for immigration purposes and uscis sent me a letter after it was sent back that they have closed the case and that i can reply..lastly how do i apply for my daughter to get her citizenship document ..pls help..thx

letters -

1. cover sheet letter, listing everything that you are including.

2. evolution of relationship letter, listing all major time ticks from the day you learned about her to today. Keep it short, 2 pages or less
