OMG! My case is with the CSC

Should I be happy? I live in New Jersey and just naturally assumed that my case is with the VSC. Today I decided to take a look at my NOA1 and it said at the bottom that I have filed a case with the CSC for my I-130. I also checked the NOA1 for the 1-129F and that one states VSC. So my VJ friends, should I have hope since my NOA1 is 11-24-2009?

Did you check to see if you received any touches on the USCIS website? You will be approved soon. They are working on late November and early December 2009 CSC. Good luck.

Incredible! I did not know that anyone who had a NOA1 date in October would still be waiting for NOA2 when they filed through the CSC. I guess there is no method to the madness, all we can do is wait and go crazy

To be honest, I think it's unusual for us...I think most will make it through before the 5 month mark. I'm hoping to find out what the problem is on Wednesday (I have an InfoPass appointment).

Our case hasn't even been touched, so it's not like they're even waiting for information from us. I have a terrible feeling we've been lost.

Don't say that. I am hoping that's not the case. It's obvious that you miss your spouse badly but I understand that it is hard to stay positive

Don't let the lack of "touches" discourage you. We did not receive any touches at all prior to our approval, aside from one when our case was transferred from VSC to CSC. Our NOA2 took 5 months to arrive! Good luck.

Count me in with those waiting since Oct 21. I did have a touch on Feb 10. But that only makes me more nervous! Did they lose it after they touched it???

We didn't get any touches before our approval. Only when they received the I-129F, then we stayed in dark til the approval date.

Don't lose faith, your approvals are coming guys! Keep it up =)

I think it also depends on if they receive "hits" on your petition. I read one of the Q&A guides by a former adjudicator. He said it can be a number of reasons why your petitions have not been approved yet. And you may not even receive an RFE.

I think you should try your best to stay positive. I though I was going out of my mind too while waiting. It is funny the week I stopped checking the USCIS website was when I got approved. Also, in the mean while read through Ling Che's guide. I already have everything ready for the NVC. I'm just waiting for them to open on Monday so that I can give them our emails.

Then I when back home for a funeral and we realize that we can not live without each other and that we did not want too. We got married in Antigua and it was so beautiful. Now it is like a waiting game. Can't wait to have him with me. Are you going to go to the interview?

I am still in the NVC stage so I am not enven sure when he will have an interview. I am hoping by May he will get an interview. However, I don't know if I will be able to go to the interview. If I can afford it I will definitely go. There aren't many Guyanese on this forum to give feed back, but from the few postings that I have read from Guyanese, they said the consulate is very tough. Especially with the high rate of fraudulent applications/applicants. It really sucks for people that have legitimate relationships. Nonetheless, I love my husband. He and I have a loving relationship, even if I argue with him about his procrastinating--he is taking forever to get his documents together. But that is marriage, it will not be perfect ALL the time.

Well good luck with your Visa Journey. Your time line isn't complete so I can't really tell where you are in this journey.
