I have a question for anybody who had their case reaffirmed by USCIS and sent to DOS. my question is. when USCIS sends you the reaffirmation letter does it contain a new WAC #?

also is there a way that I can contact DOS and ask them if they got my CR1 which was reaffirmed on 2/10/10 or do I wait until the case reaches NVC.

thank you,

It happens when the case is rejected at the interview and then USCIS reviews it and disagrees and tells the embassy they are wrong by sending it back to them

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

What do you think of our case....

We had to file I-601 waiver which was denied and upon appeal it was approved by the USICS. After the approval letter reached the embassy they asked for interview because it was more then one-year. After the interview my spouse was given 221g to submit the Afffidavit of support to local VFS office, however the lady said that the visa was approved during the interview. After submitting we contacted the embassy and they told us that the file was sent to USICS for review and its under administrative process. Any idea on how long it can take? or What it means?

Thanks.

AP can talk a few weeks or over a year. In areas they consider high fraud or high risk they spend extra time checking out the paperwork and investigating the parties. There isn't anything you can do to speed it up.
