travel during k1 visa process

I am wondering, i am a Spanish citizen, my job depends on me travelling to the USA. i am in the process to get a k1 visa to marry my USA fiance... Is there any problem if during the process of the I-129F i travel now and them to visit or due to work, is there any problem about it?

I dont find anything saying i cant, but if somebody has been in this situation it would be great have opinions or experience...

Honestly i read that one, but i saw is a 2007 post... everything is changing so much...lol.... just wanted recent opinions, expiriences at migration at the arrival... but thank you so much, i am looking at that post to see if there is any new one...

The short answer is "Yes" you can and it should be no more a problem now (that you have an I-129F pending) as before.

My fiancee has a tourist visa and I filed for her to come visit me for a few months. We filed in December 09, and she just arrived 2weeks ago from DR. I read the same page you did "on what documents to bring linking her back to her home country". When she arrived at U.S. Customs she didn't have to use anything. They just asked her why she was visiting and whom she was visiting thats it. She had no problems. Good Luck. I was nervous as hell but she got in.

I couldnt help it, just is a funny question, i really dont know why i am with an USA citizen, and really dont care from where he is, he is great for me, and i love him... Guess thats my reason. lol...

Just some experiences like this would be fun to read... and help me to be prepare with the questioning...

That's crazy! Asking you how come you don't have a boyfriend in your own country is irrelevant and subjective. When going through Customs you really don't want to expect. You have to just feel out whose's the most friendliest agent and get in that line (if you can). If you have family here in the U.S just tell them that you are visiting family and friends. My SO has family here too and she's visits them while she's here. So they can't question that. Again, good luck and keep me updated. Nice talking with you.

You should never lie to Customs. You don't want to be denied future entry into the U.S. Just prepare yourself to be questioned and be natural. There is nothing to worry about if you are telling the truth. I know some people have a hard time be questioned and it can be uneasy. You just have to remain strong and show them you're telling the truth.
