I've read a lot of interview experiences here in VJ but I just wanted to hear specific tips from people who've undergone successfully the USEM Interview.

I'm really nervous about it and it's getting nearer... :whistle:

Being nervous is quite normal, but don't let this feeling let you down.

My thoughts for you is, be positive, be confident with your "answers" but don't try to make the CO dance. Answer the questions straight forward and fast, be sure you make eye contact with her/him and most of all....PRAY!

We did it, you too can do it!

07.05.2011 – ROC Petition Filed
05.01.2012 – ROC Approved (No Interview)
05.18.2012 – 10-year GC Received
06.19.2012 – Eligible to apply for Naturalization (procrastinated)
06.24.2013 – N-400 Application Filed
09.30.2013 – Civics Test / Interview | Passed
10.03.2013 – Oath Taking Ceremony | Became a USCitizen!
04.14.2014 – Applied for "Expedite Service" Passport (as PI travel date was fast approaching)
04.16.2014 – Passport Issued & Shipped
04.17.2014 – US Passport Received

Our timeline vanished into thin air.

questions will be mostly about your fiace and your relationship so just remember all info about him, his work, family :)

understand each question and answer w/honestly

and pray pray pray

03-14-2008 NOA 2

04-07-2008 Medical exam passed

04-25-2008 Interview, visa aproved, no RFEs!

04-25-2008 Waiting for DELBROS/NSO

05-07-2008 Visa on hand ! Wow, less than 3 months! Thank you Lord!

05-26-2008 POE Detroit, no problems, thank God!

07-01-2008 Married 07-01-08, civil, just us w/ his parents

my interview will be on March 16, 2010, exactly a week after yours..

been busy preparing my docs for the interview.. as it gets closer, i get real nervous and excited at the same time!..

First is prayer.

Second- be honest in all your answer to all the questions. Asnwer only what is asked.

know your documents. Be specific with dates and above all be positive . Good luck.
