Hi,

Currently working on filling out the affadavit of support with the following issues:

Child support:

My fiancee currently gets child support that without we would fall under the threshold until she gets a new job, so we are including child support in annual income as per previous advise on this forum, anyone who disagrees with this I would love to hear alternatives.

Ex Marital Home:

My fiancee and her ex husband still own a house together in positive equity. There is a mortgage on the house, that the ex husband pays, and the house is currently in the process of being sold (or will go on the market soon). For the purpose of the affadavit i propose she fills in the values of the house and mortgage, then attaches a supplimentary sheet referring back to the divorce agreement where this is outlined, again I ask if people feel this is the best way to proceed.

Regards,

Arch

When income is sufficient, you simply leave all asset related questions blank.
