In school in another state- where should I send my n400?

Good evening to everyone,

We are going to submit n400 in a few weeks, and now that I'm in school in another state, I'm wondering whether I should send my application to the lockbox for my primary state of residence or the one that I'm in for college.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

You need to file where you consider your primary residence. How far is your college from your primary residence?

N-400 Naturalization Timeline

06/28/11 .. Mailed N-400 package via Priority mail with delivery confirmation

06/30/11 .. Package Delivered to Dallas Lockbox

07/06/11 .. Received e-mail notification of application acceptance

07/06/11 .. Check cashed

07/08/11 .. Received NOA letter

07/29/11 .. Received text/e-mail for biometrics notice

08/03/11 .. Received Biometrics letter - scheduled for 8/24/11

08/04/11 .. Walk-in finger prints done.

Our daughter is in college, crazy semesters are only 3 months long, with a week off for Thanksgiving, over a month off for Christmas, then another week off for spring break. Her address is her dorm room, and she may decide to change roommates, the rest of the time they kick her out for all those breaks. Would be a heck of a place to receive such timely mail from the USCIS. Fall semester we are renting an apartment for her, one year lease, so would be more permanent. But not even sure about applying, if she has to miss a couple of days of classes, would never catch up. Thinking maybe we should wait until she graduates, you can't make mutually agreed upon appointments with the USCIS.

Did you file a change of address with USCIS? If you use your college address, you had better file the CoA. I think you have t 10 days to file after you move. I believe you do not have to file one if your move it temporary.

Is one of you at college and the other at your normal residence?
