It been bout 1 month since approval of my petition.Why it is taken so long to get to NVC?I just hate the feeling that so close but now seem like a 5 month wait to me even if it only been a month.She even gather the most the document she needs and I have also. Maybe,I started to early on prepareing for the interview.I called NVC THEY SAY IT CAN BE MAILED SOMTIMES 4 WEEKS TO 90 DAYS(SO horrible)

JUST VENTING ALITTLE!!! :crying:

12/24/2006 : Meet Online

2/3/2007 : Officially Boyfriend and Girlfriend

3/7/2009 : Meet Arlyn in Manila

10/15/2009 : Mail I-129F package to Vermont Service Center

10/20/2009 : NOA1

2/01/2010 : NOA2 Approved

3/10/2010 : New NOA2 (Amended and re-approved)

3/17/2010 : Received by NVC

3/20/210 : NVC sent to U.S Embassy in Manila

3/29/2010 : U.S Embassy receive petition

04/19-20/2010 : Medical at Saint Luke's (Passed)

04/27/2010 : Interview at Embassy (Approved)

5/1/2010 : VISA

5/28/2010 : Flight Date

Ask help from your congressman.

My I-129F was approved in less than three months last year. After almost a month of calling the NVC, they still kept saying that they didn't have our case. The USCIS also said that they had long mailed our papers to the NVC. That was very irritating. I researched to find out the contact details of the representative nearest to my ex-fiance (now husband). I requested my man to fax his congressman.

Exactly a day after the fax, the congressman gave Arbind a ring and told him that the USCIS kept our case for no rhyme or reason. On the same day, the USCIS sent our case to the NVC and the rest of the visa process went on perfectly.
