China needs the resources because they are growing and heavily investing in their infrastructure and economy; with central government being the nerve center of the growth.

The US needs resources because people waste so much of it and it's literally throw into the trash. We're certainly not investing in replacing or improving the decades old dilapidated infrastructure. Take a road trip from NYC to LA as an example, half the country looks like an abandoned ghost ship. Why? Because Repubs and now libertarians want zero investment in the country. Actually, this lack of investment is why Houston and Dalles have 5.8 million and 6.6 million people respectively in the area yet the cities comes nowhere near that of Melbourne, Sydney or Vancouver; who have far smaller populations. Those countries heavily invested in their cities and the end result speaks for itself.

I would suggest you look at how enormous our area is..... There's no lack of investment here, believe me. We just don't 'center' it all.

LOL, I would suggest you take a trip here and see how vast our area is. Downtown Dallas or Downtown Fort Worth for that matter are peanuts, literally nothing in comparison to he entire area.

I thought we aleady had done that, with the slavery underpinning the success of the US logic. The blacks are to blame because, despite the benevolance of the majority of slave owners, they couldn't see how they were better off under the guiding hands of their masters. So, when the only thing that was wrong about slavery, the fact that they were unable to come and leave at will, was abolished, all the stupid slaves pissed off and became ghetto bums, leaving the US to go to wrack and ruin
