The international studies have been posted a number of times.

For starters, Kentucky has the third lowest household income in the Union.

Australia looks down on the USA. Something tells me you can't substantiate that.

Are you for real? Poms are the largest critics of the US yet you are acting as if this is news to you.

That's not my argument. My argument is that the average Joe blue collar worker is living a 100 fold higher quality of life than their equivalent in Middle America. After all there is a reason why Australian embassies are full of British professionals applying to move there permanently, daily.

So every person in Kentucky is miserable and wants to live elsewhere?

Not the argument here. Who is living a better quality of life?

But coming from someone who lives here, that would make one tend to question your credibility.

I'm sure there are plenty of people in Kentucky with a good quality of life, just as there are in Chicago, Detroit, Melbourne etc. And I'm sure that there are one or two poor miserable people in Australia. It would be rather foolish to make a blanket statement such as that.

What does that disprove exactly? I'm off in January. Things take a while to sort out and wind down.

australians look down on Americans? not in my experience. but then, they understand that after America gained independence and refused to accept europe's criminals and undesireables, that such types were sent to oz for a hundred years.

some of the aussie engineers i know are the first to tell you that they are always right, and that you are always wrong, no matter the truth. most aussies i know are pretty cool about the idea of being peers. several aussies i know have moved to USA just to get their gun rights back.

Once again you miss the point. Just because someone, for example, prefers a truck doesn't mean it's actually a good vehicle. yet in your opinion nope, as long as they like it, then it must be the best.

You also like to ignore and discredit international studies that specifically rank and rate places based on quality of life and so on.

When you get back to Australia, brag away. If Russia invades, pray that the US is still able to protect you.

As usual, you have no argument.

I get it. Because YOU say it then it must be so. I don't need a study or survey to tell me if I'm happy or have a quality life, or how much money I have or what I own. Perhaps you do? If someone prefers a truck and it works for them, then it is a good vehicle, isn't it? Regardless of what your study says.
