This is the first time I've put anything on here.

Back in Nov, 2009 we submitted our I-130 and I-129. Petition for K3 / K4 for spouse and her 2 daughters. Yesterday we received email notice that they were both approved. Now I find out by reviewing the state.gov website for the NVC that the K3 is no longer used. The K3 is being replaced by the IR1/CR1. That's fine. But, now how will my wife's daughters be handled. I don't see any info on this. Can anyone lead me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

It's an area that has not been addressed. My advice is to immediately file I-130 petitions for the children as they will be needed to adjust status regardless. You can try pleading your case with NVC to not close or to reopen the I-129F case because of the Children. Nobody has reported the result of such an attempt.

Thank you! I will submit the I-130s for the daughters and reference our previous I-130. Let me know if there are other affidavits/petitions that I should send out at this time. I also need to call the NVC and see what they are going to do. Wish me luck and thanks again for ALL your information and comments. GW
