Hi guys,

I know you can request to expedite cases at USCIS and at NVC, but can also request to expedite AP´s cases at the embassy?

02/14/2007 - Interview in Rio de Janeiro - VISA APROVED!

03/03/2007 - Flight out to States

12/21/2007 - Wedding!

AOS timeline

02/27/2008 - l-485 sent

04/29/2008 - AOS Biometric

05/01/2008 - I-94 Expired

07/22/2008 - AOS denied

10/28/2008 - In removal proceeding

01/14/2009 - Flew back to Brazil ;(

02/10/2009 - Hubby flew to Brazil ;)

IR1 timeline

09/23/2008 - I-130 sent

11/06/2009 - Interview in Rio de Janeiro - CO need an Advisory Opinion (sent an email to DHS with my I-94 and court order)

12/02/2010 - Hubby went back to the U.S.A ;(

I'm sure there is a way, but under what grounds would you use to expedite? You have to have a good reason...most of the time it is only military related. I dont think that you can make the embassy move any faster...just the USCIS and NVC. I havent heard of anyone get an expedite request approved for the embassy, but I could have missed it in the sea of info available

Removal of conditions Journey

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

AP means there are checking on one or more items in regards to your relationship. I have never seen an expedite of AP. You can file for it but I can't think of any reason you could propose that would overcome immigrations desire to investigate things.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Yes you ca request an expedition of you case through the embassy, but it doesnt always work. My wifes case was expedited and though we were put in AP, it only lasted 30 days. Try e-mailing the IV center handling your case, but be prepared to offer a legit excuse as to why your case is so urgent.

In our case, we have a toddler (a US Citizen) that was living with his mother and was suffering from respiratory problems in Bogota. We had more than suficient proof with all the medical notes. Again, we were very lucky.
