New stress: Canada Post says our visa package is at the post office after being out for delivery. Hubby got home last night and there was no notice to pick it up. :\

I told him to. I found on the CP website that if it looks like it was attempted to be delivered but no notice card was left, you can take the tracking number to the PO.

Maybe the postal lames put a card there but didn't secure it and it blew away. That has happened to me before.
